Meet The Artist

Sophie Mahir is a professional artist based in Perth, Australia, known for her vibrant semi-abstract floral and still life paintings.

With a background in art education, Sophie has taught both children and adults, run workshops across the UK, and exhibited widely through galleries, art fairs, and open studios.

A former member of the National Acrylic Painters’ Association, she now works primarily in acrylics, using palette knives, layering, and mixed media to create expressive, joyful works that bring colour, depth, and beauty into the everyday.
